Summer Holiday: First Day in Naples

Well, sadly, we are back home!  And this post will be about our first day in Naples: how we got there, where we have stayed and what we managed to see. I will start quickly by telling you what I was wearing and I will continue with the pictures and stories!

 I was wearing:
Hat: Similar Here
Sunglasses: Here
Dress: H&M
Marc Jacobs Watch: Here
Flash Tattoos Romania: Mood Bracelets
Michael Kors Bag: Here ( Find it at a discount)
Ami Club wear Sandals: Here

Airport outfit: Leather Jacket: Here, Shorts: Here, Michael Kors Sneakers: Here, Basic T-shirt: H&M

And now, let`s start the story. We booked out flights for one week in Rome, but during our searches for hotels we decided to change the trip a bit and have a few days spent also in Naples and Capri.
So since our flights were to and from Rome, we also bought trait tickets to Naples. The great thing is that we went with Frecciarossa and even if the distance is somewhere around 230 km we did less than an hour to arrive at our destination. How awesome is this?!

For the hotel, we booked 2 nights at Ibis Styles Napoli Garibaldi ( ex Mercure) and it was at 5 minutes of walking from the train station. This was so great because it was close enough and because we had metro station there too, in order to reach the city faster.
The area though, was not that great. So I would recommend you to stay there only for sleep, or to book something in another area. We did not knew and also we did not really browse the internet to see the area and somewhere between Piazza Garibaldi and Via Duomo is good to be avoided. We just find it suitable for our purposes and the hotel was nice and clean.

After we checked-in, we made a fast shower and went to explore the city. First we end up on some strange streets but went fast from there and took our way to Castel Nuovo which is near the seaport, by metro from Piazza Garibaldi to the Municipio metro station.
The castle is gorgeous and it has some great views if you visit it. The entrance fee is 6 euros but it`s worth it because you have a gorgeous view over the port and also of the Vesuvio Vulcano.
The pictures we took, were right behind it, between the castle and the seaport.

After visiting the museum, we took a walk to Partenope. This is a great place, where are good restaurants with good prices and delicious food. It was recommended by the girl who sold us the boat tickets to Capri, so if the locals go to a specific restaurant, the it means it`s good.
P.S.: On our way back home, we saw her going to the same place she recommended us...ahahha, probably after she finished her work.
On our way to Partenope, we went through the Giardino Molosiglio and also we saw from the outside the Castel Dell`Ovo. In fact, the restaurant was right in front of it, so we had a great view over the Castle and over the sea.

Well, this was the appetizer we took and we have tried to eat only Italian food during our stay. The second course consisted of pastas for me and Iustin. I had carbonara, the best I`ve ever had and he ask for some homemade pastas with traditional sauce and seafood.
I have to admit that we had the best dinner ever and the most delicious. Oh, the restaurant was called Antonio&Antonio.

We ended the night with a walk in Piazza Plebiscito and on the streets around it. We were extremely tired after the trip to get there but we couldn`t just stay at the hotel and sleep. So it was perfect.
I bet you have already seen more on my snapchat account: manuellalupascu, but I wanted to share also some impressions after the entire trip to Italy.

That`s it for today and don`t forget that the next post will include our trip to Capri. Which was amazing and I will also shares more details and info.
Don`t forget, if you have more questions I will be happy to answer them ♥
Kisses and have a wonderful day!
